The Elkhorn Area School District is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Special Education Teacher at West Side Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and committed to helping every learner reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families and team members
- Provide specially designed instruction aligned to students’ goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with families
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements
