Waukesha North High School is committed to fostering athletic excellence, personal growth, and teamwork among our student-athletes. We are seeking passionate and energetic Assistant Football Coaches to help lead and inspire our high school football program.
Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Head Football Coach to develop our student-athletes’ skills, promote sportsmanship, and cultivate a positive team environment. This role focuses on developing student-athletes both on and off the field by fostering a culture of discipline, academic excellence, and sportsmanship with the Waukesha North community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with conducting practices and training sessions
- Assist with coaching plans to enhance athlete performance
- Teach and reinforce proper football techniques, rules, and safety protocols
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic team culture
- Motivate athletes to achieve their personal and team goals
- Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure compliance with school district, WIAA, and Parkland Conference policies

- Previous playing and/or coaching experience in high school or college football desired
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and motivating demeanor
- Knowledge of football techniques, video analysis, rules, and safety standards
- Ability to inspire and develop student athletes in an education-based setting
- Certification in First Aid/AED/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
