Westosha Central High School is seeking an innovative Business and Marketing Education Teacher; the selected candidate will be innovative, build strong relationships with students and colleagues, and demonstrate a passion for supporting students.  Candidates of all backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to apply.  Westosha Central enrollment continues to grow and student interest in Business and Marketing Department classes is among the highest in the building.

The successful candidate will demonstrate thoughtful and intentional lesson planning, effective instructional design, collaborative skills, and an understanding of various assessment and feedback strategies.

Teaching Assignment

The teacher selected for this position will teach a variety of trimester classes throughout the year including: 

• Introduction to Business and Marketing 

• Marketing

• Sports and Entertainment Marketing 

• Personal Finance 

• Web Design and Social Media 

Extra-Curriculars

The teacher selected for the position will have the opportunity to be involved in advising or co-advising FBLA/DECA student organizations.  Additional coaching and/or student clubs are available.

Desired Licensing Qualifications:

1. Preference to have both Business licenses (1250 or 1251) and Marketing (1285) but will consider candidates with only one license
