Comprehensive School Psychology Role | Approx. 1:525 School Psychologist-to-Student Ratio | Collaborative, Systems-Focused Student Services Team Nicolet is making a significant investment in comprehensive student support services through the addition of a second school psychologist position — expanding capacity for preventative school-based mental health supports, intervention systems, and meaningful direct student impact beyond traditional models. Join a forward-thinking high school district committed to strengthening school-based mental health systems, preventative practices, and student-centered outcomes through collaborative, data-informed work. Position Description: This position offers a unique opportunity to move beyond a primarily compliance-driven role and help shape a more proactive, preventative, and student-centered model of support. The selected candidate will join a team of two school psychologists serving approximately 1,050 students within a highly collaborative Student Services department that includes four school counselors, one school social worker, and a Career & Transition Coordinator. In addition to special education evaluation and consultation responsibilities, the school psychologist will play an active role in strengthening Tier 1 mental health supports, supporting Tier 2/3 intervention systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and helping develop data-informed practices aligned to district strategic priorities. This role is ideal for a psychologist who values systems-thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, equity-focused practices, and direct student impact. Key areas of focus for this role include: • Comprehensive special education evaluation and consultation • Section 504 coordination and case management • Tier 2 and Tier 3 student intervention support • Participation in school-based mental health and SEL initiatives • Collaboration with school counselors, school social worker, administration, teachers, and support staff • Data-based problem solving and progress monitoring • Family collaboration and student advocacy • Building sustainable systems and structures that support student success The ideal candidate is flexible, relationship-driven, collaborative, organized, and excited about helping shape the future of student support services within a high-achieving, student-focused district. Candidates should be comfortable balancing compliance responsibilities with systems-level thinking, preventative practices, and direct student support work. At Nicolet, we believe student support services are most effective when they are integrated, collaborative, equitable, and centered on preparing students not only for graduation, but for meaningful success beyond high school.
