Base pay: $21.07/hr
8 hrs/day
Full Time
8 Hr. Grounds Custodian. Starting immediately. Spring, Summer, and Fall hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm. Winter hours: 5:30am – 2:00pm. Position is 12 months/year.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a high standard of appearance of lawns, grounds, and practice fields
- Laying out and marking fields
- Mowing, watering, and fertilizing lawns
- Planting, trimming, mulching and fertilizing flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Cleaning and painting benches, poles, signs and other exterior structures
- Keeping grounds free from snow and ice by using equipment such as snow blowers/tractors/brushes/shovels
- Keeping district facilities and grounds free from trash, litter, debris, and weeds
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and materials
- Following applicable safety guidelines and procedures
- Light cleaning
- Occasional weekend and after-hours time required
- Performing other duties as required

• Ability to lift heavy weight/objects within OSHA guidelines
• Time management
• Work schedule flexibility – seasonal conditions
• Problem solving skills
