Then you should apply for this position, as the Northland Pines School District is accepting applications for an Activities Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning, organizing and directing all school activities, sports and clubs. Schedule all athletic contests for all sports; arrange transportation; hire coaches and officials; evaluate coaches; ensure each sport has the appropriate inventories; arrange ticket takers; sellers, programs and seating; attend and supervise athletic contests. Must possess strong organizational, communication and technology skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage Northland Pines Middle & High School's athletic program, ensuring compliance with state and conference regulations
Oversee Wellness Center:
Maintain an equipment inventory and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed
Promote fitness programs and activities to increase community engagement and participation
Coordinate scheduling, transportation, and supervision for athletic practices, games and events
Serve as the primary liaison between school, parents, coaches and athletic organizations
Oversee activities of all school clubs
Recruit, hire, and evaluate coaches, providing support and professional development as needed
Manage the athletic budget, including equipment procurement, facility maintenance, and fundraising efforts
Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and school spirit among athletes and the broader school community
Coordinate supervision at concerts with other administrators within the district
Preferred Qualifications:
-Masters' Degree
-Wisconsin Dept. of Instruction teaching license
-Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills
