The Berlin Area School District comprises 14 municipalities, with the City of Berlin at the center.  Berlin is a rural community with a population of 5,500 located approximately 20 minutes west of Oshkosh and 10 minutes north of Green Lake. The Fox River runs through the center of the historic Victorian downtown. Agriculture, health services, light industry, and retail shops comprise Berlin’s economy.
