The Baldwin-Woodville Area School District is now accepting applications for a high school special education teacher. Qualified candidates will be energetic, motivated, flexible, and have a collaborative mindset in order to effectively support students, staff, and parents. The successful candidate must have a willingness to collaborate and a desire to provide all students a safe, nurturing place to grow and learn. The candidate will also have an understanding of special education law, as well as an understanding of the special education evaluation and Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.

 

The Baldwin-Woodville Area School District is fortunate to have two supportive communities.  Baldwin and Woodville are in St. Croix County, which is in northwestern Wisconsin; the communities are located 30 minutes east of St. Paul, MN and 40 miles west of Eau Claire, WI.  St. Croix county is one of the fastest growing counties in the state of Wisconsin.   The BWSD serves a growing population of more than 1,600 students. The ability to work in a team environment is a necessity. The candidate for this position also helps supervise paraprofessionals. Candidates must have or be eligible to have Wisconsin DPI certification in Cross-Categorical or Intellectual Disability. Other licenses will be considered based on experience.
