Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers at both the district and school levels. Demonstrated commitment to supporting a strong/rigorous curriculum focused on preparing students for relevant careers in today's ever changing workplace. Demonstrated desire and skills required to design programming and make recommendations for classes that will adapt and address the language barriers and cultural needs to prepare English Language Learners for competitive careers or post-secondary school after high school. Training/experience with: incorporating computer technology skills in curriculum, use of inclusion models, working within an instructional team, standards-based assessment and instruction, teaching a diverse student population, multi-aged groupings. Seeking an individual with teaching strengths in multiple grade levels who has a strong knowledge of the Hispanic culture.
