Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher - Vacancy ID: 178218

The School District of Siren has opened up a search for a Cross Categorical Special Education teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a full time position. Preferred candidates will have training and/or experience working with a variety of students with various disabilities at a variety of grade levels, providing both inclusionary as well as pull out services. Candidates need to possess excellent organizational skills and time management abilities, strong communication skills, and an ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, parents and other community members. Candidates should also have a strong knowledge of instructional best practices and have experience writing and implementing Individualized Educational Plans and hold a DPI license in Special Education or be eligible to obtain one.
