Arrowhead Union High School District seeks a full-time Secondary Social Studies Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This position is responsible for teaching Social Studies 9. The first semester of Social Studies 9 focuses on government and citizenship, while the second semester focuses on world geography. There is a possibility of teaching US History and/or History of Western Civilization. The desired candidate will be an enthusiastic, innovative educator who demonstrates the ability to provide all students with rigorous and high-quality learning experiences, is knowledgeable and passionate about social studies, a strong communicator and collaborator, skill-focused (especially in reading and writing), and is interested in serving the school and community, both inside and outside of the classroom.
