Arrowhead Union High School is seeking applicants for a talented innovative permanent/ full time High School Technology & Engineering Teacher in the area of Automotive starting in the fall of the 2023-24 school year. All applicants will be considered. Preference will be given to applicants who have an ASE/AYES and/or PLTW certifications along with a Manufacturing background in Woods, Welding, and/or Machining. The Technology & Engineering Education Department at Arrowhead is committed to meeting the demands of the skilled labor force and to providing quality education through authentic learning experiences for students. Our community partnerships have been instrumental in helping design and equip the spaces to provide students a quality learning experience. Automotive Courses includes: ● Consumer Automotive ● Auto Technology I ● Auto Technology II ● Advanced Auto Preferred but not required: ● Wisconsin Licensure- Industrial Technology Education #220 and/or Industry Experience ● ASE/AYES certification ● PLTW certification ● Flexibility to teach any Technology & Engineering classes as needed ● A desire for future innovating, program development and ongoing department collaboration. ● Interest in developing community relationships to enrich authentic learning ● Experience with 1:1 learning and Canvas (learning management system) is a plus but not required For consideration, please submit the following through WECAN: * Cover letter * Resume * WECAN's online employment application * University transcripts * Three letters of recommendation * Copy of current license(s)/certification(s) Application materials will be accepted exclusively though WECAN.
