The School District of Turtle Lake is seeking a 1.0 FTE Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher for the elementary school level beginning immediately in the 2022-2023 school year. This position requires the teacher to work in a cross-categorical setting with inclusion. Successful candidates will have a collaborative, flexible nature and have the skills necessary to work well with regular education teachers and educational assistants. Extra-curricular positions may be available. The ability to effectively communicate and build positive working relatonships with students, staff and parents is a must. Strong skills in IEP writing, FBAs, behavior plans, interventions and progress monitoring are desired. Candidates must show a willingness to work as a contributing member on school teams and committees. Appropriate Wisconsin DPI Certification is requied.
