DESCRIPTION: Full-time position for the 2022-2023 school year. The Montello School District is seeking an enthusiastic and caring professional to provide instructional and support services to students with moderate to severe disabilities. Experience conducting achievement and behavioral evaluations and developing Individual Education Plans (IEP’s) for students is required. QUALIFICATION: Must be able to teach students in a variety of classroom settings, including co-teaching and work collaboratively with classroom educators, special educators, and paraprofessionals to schedule services, implement IEP’s and design appropriate curricular and behavioral accommodations and modifications to improve student achievement. The ideal candidate will also have successful experience working in a team setting; knowledge and experience working with students identified with EBD, SDD, SLD, CD and/or Autism; a strong background in intervention and strategies; training and experience in behavior management techniques. REQUIREMENTS: Cross-Categorical License (1801) or Appropriate DPI Licensure in Special Education.
