The School District of New London has immediate openings for substitute teachers! --If you are DPI licensed and are interested in subbing, please complete the WECAN application, and we will be in touch with you for next steps, including background check. --If you have a bachelor’s or associate’s degree and an interest in working in education, please complete the WECAN application. However, understand that training is necessary to obtain the required DPI certification. Training programs can be completed at local CESAs (https://www.cesa6.org/services/substitute-teachers/overview.cfm), WEA (https://weaacademy.org/product/foundations-of-effective-substitute-teaching/), or in-house training with approved application and background check. Once your WECAN application has been comlpeted, we will be in touch with you for next steps, including background check.
