The School District of Mayville is looking for a full-time custodian. This position is 40 hours per week/8 hours per day M-F, during the school day (shift hours will include a 30-minute unpaid break). Starting pay is between $14.00 - $18.50 per hour based on experience. There are benefits included with this position. Thoroughness and commitment to ensuring spaces are ready to provide a clean and safe learning environment. Tasks include taking out the trash, tidying, rearranging furniture, and wiping surfaces as needed. Maintain floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and waxing them Empty and clean trash receptacles and collect recycling Daily cleaning and sanitizing of all bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and showers Restock necessary items (e.g. soap, paper products) Cleaning of mirrors and windows as needed Undertake occasional seasonal tasks (e.g. shoveling snow from the sidewalk) Report any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the appropriate department Lock and unlock windows, doors
