Instructional/Classroom Aide (Part-Time)

Location: Roncalli Elementary School, 1408 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, WI
Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: Day shift, part-time
Remote: No

What you'll do

• Support teachers in maintaining a safe and positive classroom.
• Assist with lesson planning, classroom preparation, and instructional activities.
• Prepare teaching materials, activity sheets, and learning aids.
• Reinforce lessons through discussions, stories, role-playing, and other activities.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to support learning.
• Lead classroom activities under teacher guidance.
• Communicate with parents when appropriate and in the teacher's absence.
• Help guide volunteers, interns, or student workers as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience.

• Experience preparing instructional materials and activities.

Physical requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Climb stairs as needed.

Additional requirements

• Valid driver's license with no serious violations.
• Ability to use a computer or mobile app to log work hours.
• Pass a background check.
• Complete and maintain Virtus training.
• Successfully complete a post-offer physical examination and medical history review.

Employment details

• At-will employment.
• Semi-monthly pay schedule (15th and last day of each month).
