We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Agriculture Teacher to join our growing agricultural education program! The successful candidate will teach a diverse range of courses and foster student engagement through hands-on learning, community partnerships, and FFA involvement.
 
The Agriculture Teacher will be responsible for teaching courses including Food Science, Food Processing, Horticulture, Agricultural Productions, and Animal Science. The ideal candidate will develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned curriculum that incorporates practical laboratory experiences, supervise and mentor students in FFA activities and competitions, and maintain safe classroom and lab environments with proper equipment handling and safety protocols. Additional responsibilities include building and strengthening community partnerships to support program growth and student opportunities, assessing student learning and maintaining accurate records, participating in professional development to stay current with agricultural education best practices, and collaborating with colleagues to support student success across the school.
 
We require a valid Wisconsin teaching certification in Agriculture Education and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Education or related field. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of agricultural sciences and practices and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. We prefer candidates with experience advising or mentoring FFA students, a track record of building and expanding agricultural programs, experience with hands-on laboratory instruction, community engagement and partnership development experience, and knowledge of food science, horticulture, and animal science.
