The School District of Ithaca is seeking a highly qualified, certified Elementary Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. We are looking for a professional who is committed to evidence-based instruction and eager to contribute to a collaborative, student-centered environment.

Professional Opportunities

Core Responsibilities

  • Instructional Excellence: Implement differentiated instructional strategies and evidence-based best practices to improve achievement for students of all ability levels.

  • Data-Driven Planning: Utilize the RtI framework to monitor student understanding and adjust instruction accordingly.

  • Professional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, specialists, and parents to foster a positive and productive school climate.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain professional, supportive relationships with students and the Ithaca community.

Requirements & Benefits
