Description
The School District of Ithaca is seeking an elementary-certified teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This candidate must be able to teach students of all ability levels. They must have a genuine interest in improving student achievement and contributing in a positive manner to the overall school environment.
Incorporate differentiated instructional strategies into lesson planning and lesson delivery
Develop and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Utilize evidence-based best practices
Use assessments to plan, monitor, and assess student understanding
Collaborate with other professionals
Experience and/or an understanding of the PLC process
Experience and/or understanding of RTI


Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Education with certification in areas of intermediate grades (or ability to get certification). Strong reading, writing, math skills.
