Bring your passion for art to life! With small class sizes and strong relationships being two areas we love to showcase, the School District of Gilmanton is accepting applications for an inspiring 4K-12 art teacher to foster the incredible artistic talents of our students.
Our art program is bursting with potential, with the culture of our school and community showing strong support for our art program, and many of our students showcase remarkable skills across diverse mediums, demonstrating a true passion for art. The culture of our school and community includes a solid background and representation in district-wide art, and the position includes room for flexibility and creativity to help the program grow and expand even more. Our new creative visionary that’s hired for this position will nurture our budding artists, guiding them to new heights of expression and mastery and into the world of 21st century art and careers. The ideal candidate will also be excited and motivated to take our art program to the next level, and will have excellent skills across a variety of art media, the ability to teach students of all levels, and a passion for nurturing creativity and artistic expression. As our new art teacher, you’ll have colleagues and our admin team supporting you, cheering you on, and celebrating your accomplishments.

Three elementary classes scheduled on an A-B-C rotation.

Three middle school classes scheduled on an A-B-C rotation.

One high school elective art course scheduled daily.

QUALIFICATIONS
Wisconsin DPI certification 1550 preferred. Individuals with a strong art background and a degree in a different area are encouraged to apply. This position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Successful candidates will demonstrate a desire to work in a collaborative teaching environment that focuses on helping each student achieve according to his/her potential.
