Position Overview
This full-time, school-year (10-month) position comes with comprehensive benefits, making it a unique opportunity within our district. Educational Assistants at Nicolet play a vital role in supporting students receiving special education services, primarily by working with students individually or in small groups under teacher direction to meet each student’s unique academic, behavioral, and social needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, including those with intellectual disabilities, as directed by the classroom teacher.

Assist in implementing individualized learning and behavioral plans.

Qualifications

Education: An associate degree is required.

Licensure: Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Special Education Paraprofessional license from the WI Department of Public Instruction.

Experience: Prior experience working with students with disabilities is preferred but not required. Life experience, volunteer work, or other relevant experiences are valued.
