Description:

The Ripon Area School District is accepting applications for a full-time, in-person, Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team in serving elementary students (EC through 2nd grade) beginning with the 2026-27 school year.


The Ripon Area School District serves over 1600 students, pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, in traditional schools, charter schools, and a virtual school. Please visit our district website to learn more about the Ripon Area School District. 


Qualified candidates will hold a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issued #1820--Speech and Language Pathology (PK-12) license and demonstrate the following:

  • A thorough understanding of the evaluation and IEP process

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate well with all staff and families

  • Ability to provide continuing education for staff on speech and language classroom supports and developmentally appropriate skills

  • Ability to develop, prepare and implement appropriate services based on student needs

  • Ability to coordinate meetings, testing and parent conferences 

  • Attention to details and timeliness

  • Ability to collect, use and monitor student data

  • Knowledge and organization of necessary paperwork related to medicaid billing

  • Knowledge of AAC and other forms of communication


Speech and Language Pathologists are an integral part of our school community in Ripon.  Services are provided via direct therapy, indirect consultation and sometimes virtually.  We support a 3:1 model of service delivery.  The Ripon Area School District will pay for yearly ASHA dues as a commitment to professional development and continued learning. The candidate will join an excellent, collaborative team of experienced, supportive speech-language pathologists.   Ripon has excellent facilities and ample materials available for serving students.  Ripon offers a competitive salary, based on experience. Summer work is additional compensation.
