The Grafton School District is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with exceptional logistical skills and technological proficiency to fill the crucial role of Communications Coordinator/Receptionist within the District Office. This position is vital to ensuring effective internal and external communication, maintaining the district's positive public image, and providing essential front-office support.

Key Responsibilities:
I. Communications Management and Public Relations
This role is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of all district communications, creative assets, and brand management.

Website and App Management: Manage all digital content, ensure legal and accessibility compliance, and utilize analytics

Social Media Management: Manage daily social media content across all platforms, execute strategies, and strictly enforce photo permissions.

Creative Assets & Branding: Coordinate photography services, organize assets, create materials using Canva, and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain unified messaging, create newsletter content, and manage the website.
II. Reception and Administrative Support
This role provides essential front-line support and technical assistance for the District Administration office.

Reception Duties: Serve as the primary front-line contact: greeting visitors and managing incoming phone calls.

Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support to parents/staff for all administrative systems (Skyward, Canva, Google Workspace, etc.) and create related training documentation.
- Summer School Support: Work closely with the Director of Teaching and Learning and the Summer School Coordinator.
A highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in communications, public relations, or an executive/administrative support role, preferably within a school district.
High proficiency with digital content management systems, social media platforms, and design software such as Canva and Google Workspace.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex logistics, stakeholder relationships, and communication across multiple platforms with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills, with a welcoming and proactive approach to managing tasks, supporting staff, and assisting the public.
