Position Overview
The Dodgeville School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood & 4K Special Education Teacher to join our team. The teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students in early childhood and 4K programs, ensuring that all learners reach their fullest potential. This position requires strong collaboration with families, colleagues, and support staff to foster inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning environments.
Responsibilities

Provide individualized and small-group instruction for students with disabilities in early childhood and 4K in a continuum of placement locations.

Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in compliance with state and federal requirements.

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success.

Use developmentally appropriate practices and evidence-based instructional strategies.

Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data and observations.

Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
Qualifications

Must hold or be eligible for a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license in Early Childhood Special Education (1809).

Knowledge of best practices in early childhood development and special education.
