Wisconsin Virtual Learning seeks a knowledgeable, personable, and highly qualified candidate to teach Social Studies (1.0 FTE) at WVL for our virtual high school. The successful candidate should possess outstanding communication skills, a strong commitment to academic excellence, provide academic support for the individual needs of his or her students, and foster positive interactions with students and fellow employees. The chosen candidate must be a collaborative team player who effectively builds relationships with students, staff members, families, and the community. Must possess or be eligible for Wisconsin Teaching Certifications #1701, 1734, 1745, and 1760. WVL is an online school serving 175 High school-level students. This job is a remote (work from home) job. There is an in-person requirement for traveling to the district for all professional development.

NOSD encompasses 36 square miles of suburban and rural areas adjacent to the greater Milwaukee area.
