WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist with event setup and takedown, including arranging furniture, decorations, equipment, and signage.
- Greet guests and provide event-related information or directions.
- Monitor crowd behavior and ensure guest safety and security.
- Support vendors, performers, and speakers with logistics.
- Operate equipment such as lighting, microphones, or TVs (if trained).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the event space.
- Respond to attendee questions and resolve minor issues on the spot.
- Work with the event team to follow timelines and schedules.
- Maintain a pleasant and helpful manner when interacting with customers, members, guests, and staff.
- Work as a team member to help meet the goals of serving the community through Greenheck Turner Community Center.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Primarily school year, summer opportunities available with a flexible schedule.
- Part-time position for one or two weekend days, averaging 10-15 hours per week.
- Weekend hours vary depending on scheduled events.
WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE
- $13.00 per hour.
- There are no benefits offered with this position.

This position is funded by the Greenheck Turner Community Center Fund 80.

WHAT IT TAKES
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Stamina to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Able to lift, push, and/or carry objects up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Able to work well with staff members, custodians, parents, students, and community groups.
