WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform daily concession responsibilities that includes opening and closing of the Fan Stand, sell and stock products, wash dishes, portion food, clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces, and complete daily check lists and daily cash reports.
- Assure that sanitation and safety practices in all phases of the food service operation meet established standards.
- Utilize proper food storage methods for the refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage areas.
- Communicate with immediate supervisor in a timely manner via email or telephone with concerns, issues, inventory needs, or discrepancies during shift.
- Maintain a pleasant and helpful manner when interacting with customers, members, guests, and staff.
- Work as a team member to help meet the goals of serving the community through Greenheck Turner Community Center.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Primarily school year, summer opportunities available with a flexible schedule.
- Part-time position for weeknights and weekends, averaging 10-15 hours per week.
- Weekday hours range between 2:45 pm – 8:30 pm.
- Weekend hours vary depending on scheduled events.
- Work schedule may include hours on non-school days such as during winter break and spring break.
WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE
- $13.00 per hour.
- There are no benefits offered with this position.

This position is funded by the Greenheck Turner Community Center Fund 80.

WHAT IT TAKES
- Must be at least 15 years of age (D.C. Everest students aged 14 may be considered).
- Training in cashier-type duties, able to make arithmetic computations.
- Knowledgeable in use and care of kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Stamina to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
- Able to lift, push, and/or carry objects up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Able to work well with staff members, custodians, parents, students, and community groups.
