Full Time
The Mineral Point Unified School District is seeking two instructional assistants to join the special education team. One position will be at the Mineral Point Elementary School, and the other position will be at the Mineral Point Middle School. These are full-time (36 hours/week) positions with benefits.
The instructional assistant at the middle school provides individual and small group support to students in the classroom and during guided study halls by reteaching and reinforcing lesson content, providing accommodations as required by the IEP, and communicating with special education teachers to coordinate services.

The instructional assistant at the elementary school provides individual and small group support to students in the classroom and encores by reteaching and reinforcing lesson content, providing accommodations as required by the IEP, and communicating with special education teachers to coordinate services. Additional coverage, such as supervising recess or lunch, will also be part of the role.
