What You'll Do

As our K-12 Art Teacher, you'll be the catalyst for creativity across all grade levels, inspiring students to explore their artistic potential while developing essential life skills. Your role will include:

Multi-Level Art Instruction:

  • Design and implement an age-appropriate art curriculum for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Teach various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, and digital art
  • Adapt lessons to meet diverse learning styles and developmental stages
  • Foster creativity while building fundamental artistic skills and art appreciation

Creative Program Development:

  • Develop engaging art projects that connect to other academic subjects
  • Organize student art exhibitions and community showcases
  • Coordinate participation in local and regional art competitions
  • Create opportunities for students to display their work throughout the school and community
Student-Centered Approach:
  • Encourage individual artistic expression and build confidence
  • Provide differentiated instruction for students with varying abilities
  • Support students interested in pursuing art at the post-secondary level
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Wisconsin teaching license with certification in Art Education (K-12)
  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field
  • Strong foundation in various art mediums and techniques
  • Excellent classroom management skills across multiple grade levels
  • Ability to inspire creativity while maintaining a structured learning environment
