Duties Performed:

We are seeking a dependable and dynamic individual to support the Library Media Center (LMC) Director at Herrman Elementary. This position plays a vital role in the daily operations of the LMC and requires strong organizational, technological, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the LMC Director with the overall management and organization of the Library Media Center

  • Supervise and support students in the LMC, ensuring a safe, respectful, and productive environment

  • Provide front-line technology support, particularly with devices such as iPads and Google-based tools

  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

  • Collaborate effectively with students, staff, and administration as a reliable and supportive team member

  • Perform any duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in educational technology platforms, including Google Workspace and iPad functionality

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Flexibility, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

  • Experience working in a school setting or with students is preferred


Work Schedule of the Position: School year, 7:30-3:30; 5 days a week, plus 10 additional days before or after the school year
