Middle and High School Band and Choir Teacher - Vacancy ID: 240070

Rio Middle/High School is seeking applicants for its full-time Middle/High School band and choir teacher position. The position teaches the following classes: 6th Grade Band, 6th Grade Choir, 6th Grade General Music, 7/8 Band, 7/8 Choir, 9-12 High School Band, 9-12 High School Choir, and individual lessons. Qualified applicants must have a passion for teaching music education to adolescents, enjoy building rapport with students, staff, and stakeholders, are familiar with the WI Music Standards, can effectively use technology to increase learning outcomes, and are lifetime learners with the desire to consistently improve. This position can also include summer band/choir opportunities, as well as the opportunity to help direct/lead performances.
