Washington Elementary School is looking for an educator willing to make a difference in the lives of students. The successful applicant will be positive, knowledgeable, and child-centered. Washington seeks a professional with a growth-mindset who is deeply committed to both the academic and socio-emotional development of children.  This intervention position will be primarily supporting students in the discipline of math, but may provide some literacy intervention support as well.

Washington Elementary School serves approximately 325 4K-5th grade students. Whitewater is located in southern Wisconsin, approximately 45 miles west of Milwaukee, 45 miles east of Madison, and 100 miles northwest of Chicago. The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, with an enrollment of over 10,500 students, offers residents a variety of cultural and educational opportunities.

• Hold, or be eligible to obtain, the appropriate DPI license as an interventionist
