St. Matthew Catholic School is thrilled to announce the launch of our new 3K program, and we are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced educator to help us nurture and guide our youngest learners. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new chapter at our school, where we value faith, academic excellence, and holistic development.

We are looking for a qualified 3K Teacher who can create a welcoming, supportive, and engaging classroom environment for our preschool-aged students. As a foundational role in our growing early childhood program, the ideal candidate will be someone who can build strong relationships with students and families, foster social-emotional development, and incorporate faith-based values into the curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

• Use the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) to guide instruction and ensure age-appropriate development across all areas of learning.

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.

• Collaborate with parents and staff to ensure each child's success.

• Implement faith-based learning, including prayer, Bible stories, and the celebration of Catholic traditions.

• Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding development.

• Work alongside a full-time Aide to support student learning and classroom management.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 3:45 pm. Students will attend one of the three following options: 5 full days, 5 half days, or 3 full days.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

• Previous experience teaching preschool or early childhood education, particularly in a 3K or Pre-K setting.

• Knowledge of child development and best practices for early childhood education.

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
