Position Summary:

We are seeking a middle school math teacher to be a part of a team.  This role entails teaching 8th grade math. The ideal candidate is reflective, student-centered, and committed to continuous professional learning.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging, differentiated, and culturally responsive lessons.
  
  

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom community.
  
  

• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
  
  

• Collaborate with colleagues as part of a Professional Learning Community (PLC).
  
  

• Partner with families to support student success.
  
  

• Participate in professional development aligned with district goals.
  
  

• Utilize formative and summative assessment data to guide instruction.
  
  

• Follow district curriculum and pacing guide. 

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin DPI License:  Mathematics Teaching License #400, #1400 and/or Elementary/Middle Level Education #1088 or Regular Education License #1077

• Previous experience with Illustrative Mathematics is preferred, but not required

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
