Technology & Engineering  Teacher with an Emphasis in Welding and/or Machining

Westosha Central High School is seeking an innovative Technology & Engineering  Teacher with an emphasis in welding and/or machining and a passion for supporting students.  Candidates of all backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to apply.

Westosha Central High School has seen a steady increase in student enrollment over the past four years and enrollment should be stable or see a slight increase in years to come.  The district recently completed construction on a forty-million-dollar referendum which includes classroom renovations, new collaboration areas for staff and students, and a brand new commons, auditorium, and gym. The referendum, supported by our community, has provided our students and staff with a state-of-the-art facility.

Students taking metals at Westosha Central High School have a dedicated metals workshop and a separate connected classroom for direct instruction.  The district has updated equipment, including new lathes and a plan for new milling machines, and plans to put resources into the program for new and innovative equipment in the future.
