Position Goal: To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill development, an appreciation for the values of student connectedness, discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem. The philosophy of a varsity team dictates that as many athletes as possible should participate without sacrificing a chance for the program to enjoy competitive success.

Experience in coaching wrestling. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, parents and community; organized; leadership and supervision experience, organized and self-motivated with the ability to motivate others. Coaching in the particular sport, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience preferred. Experience at the middle/high school level is preferred. First aid, CPR, and Blood Borne Pathogen training is required.
