Description: The South Shore School District seeks a dynamic, student-centered middle school Mathematics & Science teacher to join our team! The candidate must be licensed through 8th grade, with preference for high school licensure as well. The candidate we seek is an experienced teacher with leadership skills, bringing innovation and growth to our teaching and learning at South Shore.

You will be a great fit for our team if you love working with middle and high school students and are able to motivate and engage them as learners!

Licensure and Other Requirements:

• A valid teaching license 

• A hunger for feedback and continuous growth and learning

• Ability to assess student skills, provide constructive feedback, and track progress toward mastering competencies.

• Highly effective communication, teamwork, listening, and interpersonal skills.

About Us: The South Shore School District is a small, rural district in Port Wing, WI near the beautiful shores of Lake Superior. We are a 4K-12 building with about 210 students districtwide. South Shore has a very supportive community, small class sizes, and dedicated staff who love what they do!
