The School District of Janesville is currently accepting applications for the position of Elementary School Head Custodian position at Monroe Elementary School. This position works 8.0 hours per day; 5:00 am - 1:30 pm.
This is a full-time; year-round position with benefits available.
Position start date is July 1, 2025.
This position participates in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).
Health Insurance benefits are available with this position.

1. Ability to direct and monitor the work of custodians.
2. Ability to perform general maintenance and grounds care tasks.
3. General boiler and heat system maintenance experience.
4. Ability to maintain structured work schedules.
5. Experience in custodial work preferred.
6. Knowledge of basic custodial equipment and supplies.
7. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all district employee groups.
8. Familiar with all aspects of custodial operations and of basic maintenance procedures.
9. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the district may find appropriate and acceptable.
Previous experience is preferred.
