GRACE - St. John Paul II Classical School is looking for a part-time Interventionist for the 25-26 school year. The position is Late August 2025 through June 2026- 20 hours a week- benefit eligible  
 
Job Summary: The Interventionist works with assisting students and staff to provide for individual student educational needs in a collaborative environment with the principal, teachers, Supportive Consultant, and Director of Student Services. To help students develop proficient skills that will contribute to closing achievement gaps. The Interventionist is expected to bring their students a Catholic vision of the world and of education, and approach the art of teaching in accordance with the principles of the Gospel. 
 
 
Job Responsibilities
Support the school’s Supportive Consultant with completion and execution of GRACE School Service Plans for students of need in communication with classroom teachers.
Provide direct identified assistance to students of need as determined by GRACE Student Service Plan (GSSP) and in the areas that best meet the candidate’s strengths (Math/Literacy, Elementary/Middle)
Utilization of STAR data to provide direction/support to teachers in use of the data to help close achievement gaps between students. 
Aids classroom teachers of students the Learning Interventionist is supporting in analyzing data and determining students in need of specialized intervention.
Provides intervention to individuals or groups of students in and outside of the classroom as assigned and in the areas that best meet the candidate’s strengths.
Supports classroom teachers of students the Learning Interventionist is supporting in their planning to differentiate for students of different reading levels.
Monitors, assesses and communicates to the building principal the implementation of the literacy framework in classrooms.
 
Qualifications
-  Minimum of a BA/BS in an appropriate subject area
-  DPI license preferred
-  Demonstrates professional competency in an area of academic expertise
-  Successful completion of legal background check and Virtus training
-  Supports Catholic Values
