Hearing & Vision Screening Technician- Part Time - Vacancy ID: 235766

This is a part time position for Marathon County Special Education. Employee will work 20-25 hours per week between 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Mon-Fri from Sept- Nov.

The Vision and Hearing Screening Program is provided to all schools in Marathon County. Staff travels to over 60 sites to conduct screening. The purpose is to identify and refer children with potential problems to a health care professional or primary care for further review. Screening identifies those at high risk or in need of a professional examination through risk assessment and screening tests. All children in 4K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade in Marathon County schools are screened each year.

High School graduation or equivalent is required. Previous working with children is preferred.

Valid diver's license and reliable transportation required.
