ML Aide Position Summary

Key responsibilities include: 

• Supporting the work of the general education teachers and ML teacher in the classrooms and providing additional support outside of the classroom for students in our ML program.

• Using a multitude of instructional strategies, especially Direct Instruction, that are academically rigorous and highly engaging.

• Taking responsibility for student progress; constantly working to respond to students’ needs.

• Clearly and consistently communicating and upholding school rules, values, and expectations in and out of the classroom.

• Displaying time management skills to maximize student learning.

• Building relationships with students that communicate the importance of academic and social success at school.

• Taking on responsibilities outside of their content area instruction such as Core Virtue presentations, lunch and recess duty, and other duties as assigned.
