Starting pay $25.74/hr. Scale increases with experience.
Full time, 8 hours/day position. 40hrs/week. Monday-Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm

The Technology Support Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.  The candidate is expected to have a strong background in administrative functions related to desktop and mobile operating systems and applications for multiple computing platforms, basic/intermediate server experience, and basic/intermediate network troubleshooting while demonstrating exceptional customer service to staff, student, and community users of technology.  Strong remote/phone support skills as well as good time management/prioritization skills will also be sought in a successful candidate.

 

The candidate will support multiple buildings and can expect to travel between  buildings in a district-provided vehicle on a daily basis.  As such: having and maintaining a clean driving record is required.

Education:  Associates Degree in Technology Science from a recognized college or university
 
Required: 
  • 3-5 Year in a technology field.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to obtain or currently hold industry certifications:  CompTIA A+, DCSE, MCDST, CCNA, or other OS, hardware, networking, or repair certifications.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license as travel is required to provide technical support between multiple buildings.
