The Oregon School District is seeking a full-time Multilingual Resource Teacher to serve students at Oregon High School in grades 9-12. This person will co-teach and co-plan with general education teachers across disciplines to support Multilingual Language Learners with language acquisition and accessing learning in the classroom. This position will also casemanage a group of ML students, working to develop individualized goals and support plans. Skills that are critical to this position include data collection and progress monitoring of student growth, collaboration on PLC teams, and partnering with families. This position may also provide direct instruction to newcomer MLs.
Preferred qualifications:
Bilingual Resource Teacher candidates will possess or be eligible for a Wisconsin license in English as a second language. A Bilingual Bicultural certification is preferred. Candidates fluent in Spanish are preferred.
