The School District of Howards Grove is looking to fill a part-time seasonal lawn care groundskeeper position, working up to 20 hours per week from Spring to Fall. Hours will vary, including some possible weekends (depending on weather). This position requires hands on knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, and maintenance. 

Basic responsibilities include mow, trim, and blow leaves and debris from lawns and landscape areas. Perform precise edging along sidewalks, curbs, parking lots, and driveways to maintain a neat and polished appearance. Maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working order. Ensure properties are left clean and well maintained after each job, giving attention to detail. Adhere to safety protocols, wearing protective gear when necessary and operate machinery safely. Ability to communicate in a professional manner with staff is important. Regular and reliable attendance is essential.

The employee is required to sit, walk and stand continuously. Sufficient vision and depth perception, physical ability, strength, mobility, stamina to climb, bend, stretch, stand, kneel, walk, lift, carry, push or pull objects which could weigh as much as 50 pounds. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements:
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
High School Diploma or Equivalency
Acceptable Background Check
Must be able to use a computer to retrieve email messages and instructions; and also to enter, record, and submit your timesheet
