Little Chute Elementary School is seeking a positive, energetic, and student-focused special education teacher for our 4th Grade Special Education Co-teaching position starting the 2025-26 school year.
The primary focus of this position will be to provide diagnostic, consultative, and instructional special education services to children with disabilities that interfere with a child’s ability to learn. As part of their duties, the special education teacher will collaborate with 4th grade staff to ensure all students are supported in their least restrictive environment. This individual may also supervise a teacher aide, if assigned to a student caseload.
Experience with students in grade 4 is desired. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of special education instruction and the special education process. The primary focus of this position will be to provide diagnostic, consultative, and instructional services to children with disabilities that interfere with a child's ability to learn. The candidate will be able to collaborate with a variety of staff and work in an inclusive, progressive environment. Knowledge of appropriate assessment techniques, Behavior Intervention Plans and IEP development is an expectation. The candidate is expected to be an active member of the school community and create a supportive classroom community.
