District Registrar

12 month position (40 hours/week) 7:30am-4pm - Full time benefit eligible position

$22.00-$24.50 per hour


Position Summary:  The Beaver Dam Unified School District is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and highly organized District Registrar to lead student enrollment and data management across the district. In this key role, you’ll be the go-to expert for our Student Information System (SIS), ensuring accurate student records and compliance with state and federal reporting requirements.


The District Registrar is responsible for:

  • Manage student enrollment and registration (new, returning, and withdrawing students)

  • Maintain and update student records (grades, attendance, transcripts, etc.)

  • Oversee online registration processes and support families through enrollment

  • Ensure accuracy and security of all student data in the SIS

  • Train and support school staff on SIS use and best practices

  • Generate and submit state and federal reports as required

  • Handle transcript requests, grade changes, academic rankings, and more

  • Collaborate with school offices and district departments on student data needs

  • Provide exceptional customer service to families, staff, and stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

  • Prior experience using a Student Information System (e.g., Skyward)

  • Excellent computer and data entry skills

  • Comfortable learning and training others on new software

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

  • Experience in education, student services, or administrative support (preferred)

Other required skill sets:

  • Ability to process large quantities of information expeditiously and efficiently without errors

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

  • Occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs)

  • Timely and personable communication skills
