Essential Skills:

• Ability to take direction and follow procedures, policies, and protocols.
• Ability to communicate in oral and written form.

Instructional Related Duties:
a. Assists students in small group activities, testing, playing educational games, reading and telling stories, discussions, special projects, use of programmed materials at the direction of a certified teacher.
b. Monitors and assists students during recess, lunch, and other times as directed by the principal.
c. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality in a professional manner as expected of fully licensed teacher.
d. Maintains positive and effective communications with students, parents, and staff.
e. Alerts the teacher of special needs of individual children.
f. Follows other instructional related duties as assigned.
