Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a lasting impact on young learners? Oconto Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 2nd-Grade Teacher to join our team!

Position Overview:

As a 2nd-Grade Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing foundational skills for our students. You’ll create a positive and supportive classroom environment, implement engaging lesson plans, and work collaboratively with staff and families to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with district curriculum and state standards.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff.
  • Promote social-emotional learning and positive behavior strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning and professional growth.
  • Participate in professional development and ongoing training.

Qualifications:

✔️ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
✔️ Certification: Valid teaching license for elementary education (or ability to obtain)
✔️ Experience: Previous experience with young learners preferred
✔️ Skills: Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
✔️ Passion: Commitment to student growth and a love for teaching
