Educational Support – Clerical

2025-26 School Year

General Summary:

  • Maple Avenue Elementary School

  • Grades K5-4

  • 7.50 hours per day, 5 days per week

  • 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

  • One position available

Position Goal: To assist the school administrator/administrative assistant and school staff with all aspects of the elementary school office.

Compensation: Starting at $19.38/hour.

Two years of study at an institution of higher education, an associate degree (or higher), or high school graduation. Must possess strong public relations skills including successful work experience in dealing with young children, parents and members of the community; and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in general office work to include: ability to use word processing/ computer/office equipment effectively and accurately; ability to use a variety of software related to document production, student attendance and student records; ability to maintain accurate records; and demonstrate strong problem solving, organizational and multi-task oriented skills; and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education finds appropriate and acceptable.
