Position Title: 2025 Elementary Summer School Teachers

Ready, Set, Let’s Learn (RSL) for Incoming Kindergarten Students (2 positions)

  • Play-based learning with focus on social-emotional development and foundational skills
  • Prepare students for Kindergarten routines and expectations

Enrichment Classes for students entering grades 1 and 2 in fall 2025

  • Three 50 - minute instructional blocks
  • Must submit class proposal, including title and description of class, grade level(s), what students will learn, materials needed, and any room requirements
  • Be creative! Consider talents, hobbies, special interests, etc. Email eitsue@holmen.k12.wi.us with any questions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Certified and/or eligible for Wisconsin teaching certification.
  • Successful working experience with students.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to develop positive, constructive relations with students, staff and the public.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Reports To: Elementary Summer School Administrator
 
Terms of Employment:  Summer School will be held July 7 – 24 at Prairie View Elementary (1201 Newport Ln Holmen). Required daily hours for elementary summer school educators are 7:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. The hours include preparation time and supervision, in addition to the regular summer school day. Teachers must ensure all students in their last class are safely on the bus or picked up prior to leaving for the day.  Salary, benefits, and other employment terms per the Employee Handbook.
